Abstract
Concrete-filled tubular members exhibit improved structural performance without need for additional sectional improvement. Such enhanced structural performance can be attributed to improved compressive strain in the filled concrete arising from a confining effect developed by the external tube as well as reduction of local buckling in the external tube. In this study, lateral load tests were performed to confirm the change in the structural performance as grout is filled in a steel tubular member, similar to the sectional stiffness of small-size H-beams. To compare the effect of filling grout on the change in the structural performance of the small tubular member, its load resistant behavior was examined as functions of the existence of grout in the tube and change of curvature of the filled tube. In addition, comparisons were made with lateral load resistant behaviors of H-beams with similar stiffness.

요지
콘크리트 충진강관(CFT) 구조는 외부 강관의 구속효과에 따른 강관 내 충진 콘크리트의 압축변형률 향상과 강관의 국부좌굴 감소에 따라 부재의 단면증가 없이 부재의 구조성능이 향상된 부재이다. 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 충진강관과 같이 소형 H형강 수준의 단면강성을 가지는 소형 강관 부재에 그라우트를 충진함에 따라 나타나는 구조성능 변화를 확인하기 위하여 그라우트 충진 강관부재에 대한 횡방향 하중재하 실험을 실시하였다. 강관에 대한 그라우트 충진에 따른 강관부재의 구조성능 변화를 비교하기 위하여 강관에 대한 그라우트 충진유무와 충진강관의 곡률 변화에 따른 하중저항 거동을 평가하였으며, 유사한 강성을 가지는 H형강의 횡방향 거동특성과도 비교하였다.
